North East Portland covers a lot of ground, and is home to some of the most desirable real estate on the east side, and all of Portland. The Laurelhurst and Irvington neighborhoods are absolutely beautiful with tree lined streets, huge parks, giant old-pdx style craftsman homes, and some amazing restaurants and shopping. Other notable neighborhoods include the Alberta Arts district, which has a thriving commercial corridor with tons of funky shopping. Alameda, Concordia and Beaumont also have some fantastic properties, as well as neighborhoods like Hollywood, and Rose City Park have beautiful places to call home.
A real up and coming area of NE Portland is the Montavilla neighborhood. There are some outstanding values for homes here, and the properties are of a high quality, mostly 1950’s ranch style homes which are increasing in popularity.
