Linnton is a funky little lumber town just north of/adjacent to Forest Park up Highway 30. It sits up on a rise that has fantastic views of the Willamette River mouth, where it merges with the Columbia. Linnton is super tiny, but just north of the St. Johns Bridge, and just south of Sauvie Island.
It is really an outlier neighborhood of NW Portland, and hardly considered to be its own town, although it is its own community.
