Aloha is an area of what I would consider “outer Beaverton”. It is spelled like the common Hawaiian salutation, but pronounced a bit differently (silent “h”). In Aloha you will find a lot of 1970’s and 1980’s construction. It is less developed than the main Beaverton areas. Many families who live here work in Beaverton or Hillsboro which are adjoining. But if you worked in Portland from here, you would be cutting through Beaverton, and in for one of the tougher commutes that this area has to offer.
